Mario Ikasovic is the managing director and driving force behind Opalus. He purchases rough opal from various miners and processes it through to its marketable state, bringing forth its unique gem qualities.

While Opalus features a range of exquisite jewellery, featuring free-form designs, our ares of expertise continues to be the stone itself in all its celebrated forms.

Mario Ikasovic travels extensively to promote opal and brings twenty seven years of opal buying, cutting, grading and selling skills to Opalus (PTY) Ltd.

A permanent presence in the mining town of Lightning Ridge grants us unique access too much of the opal mined there.
